Help! EAD to H1B1 visa - have to go back to China?

My friend's is using her EAD. (Not the I-485 主申請人). For the worst reason, now she need a visa to keep her here with her daughter. She got a very good offer from a university, but the school told her she has to go back to China for the H1B1 visa and it may take months. Shcool won't hold this position for her then.

She's a very nice person. Please help her with any useful information. Thank you so much!
