did the same mistake when he filed my I-140. Instead of EB2, he chose EB3. But I was lucky that I found this mistake several week after I-140 was filed. So we asked the lawyer to file an ammendment to change to EB2. My I-140 was approved with EB2. The lesson learn is never trust the lawyer 100%, follow up yourself as much as possible.
