07/06 info pass, was told under adjudication, need interview
07/07 call TSC, was told supplemental meterial should be put in my file without updating and supplemental material is very helpful.
07/07/23 both self and spouse I485 approved. No interview.
If you did not provide employment verification when you submitted your I140, it is better to send them when you have it (use the address on your I485 notice or transfer notice). They may not ask you to provide it though RFE.
Otherwise, you will be scheduled for an interview which will cost you several months. For me, the employment verification is just three line letter from human resource department including your position, starting date, which department, salary. I also asked my boss to writing one page letter showing the nature of my work is NIW related field. Since I did not
provided any information about employment in I140, I provided last pay stubs of each year showing my whole year income and most
recent pay stubs.
I never asked NIS about my name check status. I believe all VSC-TSC case should be assigned a visa number because I was told my case was being adjudicated in early June. It took almost two months since last infopass. So be patient, if your case is vsc-tsc, it should be approved soon.
Thanks Xiao Bai Tu and other experts for advice provided in the process.
