BCIS Distric Office

I submitted my AP application for more than one month at Philadephia Distric Office, but never received any receipts. I just wander, how can I check my case status late without a receipts?

I know If I submit to any BCIS Service Center, I would receive a receipts within 2 or 3 weeks.

Does the Disctrict Office not send us receipts when we apply immigration benefits there?
