The notice was not lost: it was RETURNED as undeliverable to the center. I am pretty sure it is either the mistake of the Post Office or USCIS. My attorney and I have both been receiving other notices (I-131, Finger Printing notices) in a timely manner.
Now the problem is: I do not even know whether the returned notice was my missing I-485 receipt notice or a RFE notice! Neither do I know where they sent the notice to, my home address or the lawyer's address (both are correct and current? How could we receive most documents at our addresses except this one?
What should I do, please advise. Many Many thanks again
