FP for efiling EAD renewal

I just did efiling my EAD renewal and got the online receipt. Question, the receipt says that I must wait for BCIS to send me a mail about the boimatric appointment. But someone said here that the applicant must call 800 number to schedule the FP. Do I suppose to call or just wait?
