Is 6- months period starting from USCIS received 485?

Filed the 485 today and received by USCIS. Will expect the endless waiting period of everything except the 6 months job change freedom if the 6 months starting from today? Can anybody help to confirm if the date start to count today?

Thanks for all the information on this forum and be graceful for those who have pushed forward to get what all of us expected.
