My Lawyer just wrote to me:
"The USCIS has announced that they will accept I-485s if they are filed by August 17.
So please prepare the info/docs I requested ASAP.
If you are taking time for medical exam, please send everything else now and send medical exams later.

By the way, your I-140 has been filed."
