While most I485 cases have been transfered to other centers this Spring, there are still some cases left in VSC. I have a very bad feeling that those cases have been lost in hard copy, therefore they could not be transfered.
Online status information is still available just because of the e-file database.
Unfortunately, officers approve cases only on basis of hard copy. Thus, the cases pending at VSC will never get approved.
It seems unlikely to occur. However, given that notorious s**t mistakes USCIS has made, every stupid thing is reasonable. Remember what Mr Lu Xun said: I don't afraid to believe that (some) people are evil and s**t.
correct me if I am wrong. I also hope I am wrong to do this guess.
For those I485 cases still in VSC, like mine
