dan712, please!my I-94 again.

My I-94 is expired for 20 days due to the mistake made by the officer in airport. I entered in US on Feb.29/2004, he gave me the valid date until March 30.2004, which is same as my H1B visa expiration date. My I797 is valid until 2006. I have looked through the previous attachments here, but they still had their valid I-94 even valid dates are wrong. In my expired I-94 case, what you do think? I still can go to the local office to correction, no risk? Thanks a lot.
