a letter from USCIS regarding 485

It says:

The preliminary process of this application has been comleted. On July 2, 2007, we thanferred this case to our local office to conduct an interview that is a standard part of processing this I485 application...

Has anyone ever got a similar letter? Does this mean the NC is clear?
