different places different. if you're in NY/CA or other "popular" places, takes about(average) 4 or 5 yrs. and different industries different. some industries are more difficult than others, nurses right now is hot and relatively fast, but industry like IT, many cases got denied right away by the labor department before they can go to the INS, so wont have to wait too long for the result. :( good luck!
