Attorney is a profession. They serve you when you ask. If you don't want to use attorney, you can do everything by yourself. Any step of green card application can be done by yourself if you read the instruction clearly and fully understand. Don't push all the duty to attorney but blame them when policy changes.I found many of people don't understand a single bit of the system yet demand everybody serve for his interest without compensation. Think about it, will you go to work without pay? Attorneys sometimes do Pro Bono work for community, has any of you who complaint pretty much everything, ever did once donation, big or small? I remember 柏楊的醜陋的中國人.I think everyone just want to green card handed over to his hand for free. Or take any free ride if someone else fight for it. Remember 1989 "6.4" GC? I can imagine how many people took the free ride that time. This is why Chinese/Asian can not be heard yet in this country, because there are too many cowards here. I am so disappointed on this forum's some posts that sometimes I am ashamed to be one of those.
