Thanks. I heard that too. But in my online status, it says: "On April XXX, 2007, we transferred this case to our XXXXX,XX location to conduct the interview that is a standard part of processing this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. You will be sent a notice when the interview is scheduled, or if the office needs something from you...."

It sounds like they have to have an interview. I did change my job (still in the same field) after the filing. Do you think that is the reason they want to interview me.

Also, Based on your experiences, how long it takes to get the interview?
