I don't think so because there are way less legal immigrants than illegal immigrants. The voice will not be loud enough to be heard; plus legal immigrants is not a national security concern so far.
Meanwhile, no Chinese will 上街 when the situation comes to them. I bet not many Chinese will go to court to testify, rather than like to let Indians and other nationalities to go. That's the nature of Chinese.
