Hi, Xiaobaitu
My nephew (F-1 high school senior, just graduated this June) made a serious mistake about his college application (he didn't response the school's offer, and didn't mail the deposit check, either.). The consequence is he just knew today that he hasn't been accepted for the college this fall (the school told him that he can do the spring semester). However, I-20 issued by his high school expired on June 15th, 2007. We want to know what kind of options does he have now? is this called out-of-status? What if he could find a community college to maintain his status very soon? Is that possible? or anyway he need apply for reinstatement even he find any community college to jump in? Urgent!!
Thanks!!!
