thanks but my SEVIS record shows that my F-1 visa has been terminated (The ISO official showed me this info. from his SEVIS system on his computer and he was not sure if I could stay after May 1st) ... I think my case is very like an employee being fired by an employer and how long he could stay in the US to look for another job? In such a case, I will not have the 60 grace period since I am not a F-1 student any longer (my status is H-1b) ... what a mess !!!
