legal question about cited or charged -- please help!

When I was young, I had one fight with my then girlfriend in public. Policemen came and wanted to arrest me for harrasment. But the girl didn't press charge so they let me go.

Is this in my record? Will it show up as being cited or charged?

I regret the things I did in the past. I have no feelings for her for a long time, but I was so hot blooded back then.
