I-485 SOS -- Team acquired by another company in July

July is a good time to file I-485 and I-140 (I just got LC). However, just heard our
team in company A will be acquired by another company B in July. I worry about my
employment-based green card application very much:

(1) Because of the pending acquisition, my current company may not sponsor my greed
card application (signs letters, ...)
(2) The formal acquisition date may be the end of July, so that is no way for my future
exployer (company B) to sponsor filing I-485 and I-140 in July.
(3) Changing laywer may even causes un-predicted delay.

BAD timing of the acquision. Does anyone here have similar situation? Can anyone provide
any suggestion for filing my I-485 and I-140 in July? Thanks
