請較各位: 我太太能否稍後遞交I-485?

我現在準備遞交I-485, 但我太太是J-1, 到年底才能辦豁免, 她能否等辦完豁免後再以我為主申請人遞交I-485? 如果我的申請在她遞交以前被批準,她的申請是否就得淪為綠卡配偶的申請, 因此就得排期? 她此時應以何種身份而合法地留在美國? 謝謝!
