Thanks, but my case is complicated

my first H1-b used 2 yrs, then I transferred to another university, this University extended my H1-B to 3 year enev though there is still one year to expire, now my current H1-b is going to expire in 3 mons, I mean can just renew for another 3 years or one year first?
