You can write one check of $ 395 for I-485. You need to write a separate check for other cases as AP and EAD because these are different cases and probably process by different officer.
You can apply for AP and EAD later. It's very simple, so you can do it by youself. However, filling fees for AP and EAD will increase dramatically by July 30 next month, so if you need them, it is wise to apply now. If you don't need them, just do it by youself lt later.
