Help please: WillI I485 filing for my spouse (F1) affect his F1

I hold H1B visa, I140 pending, will file I485 soon. My hu*****and hold F1 via, expect to graduate this year. I learned if we file 485 together may affect his F1 visa staus. Anybody know what is the effect? Is it very risky?
