third way back to USA

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is allowed to go back to China, stay a couple of weeks, and come back to Canada first, then back to USA? Currently H1b and Canada permanent resident, but don't have visa stamp yet. Your experience is very appreciated. Thanks!
