Who can answer me about I-485 transfer from I-140 to another I-1

I filed two I-140 applications, EB-1a and NIW end of June 2006. I also filed my I-485 based on EB-1a. Now I had NIW I-140 approved, but I haven't received any result from EB-1a. I am thinking to transfer my I-485 from EB-1A to NIW, but I don't know which way is better, transfer or apply a new one. Anyone who had same experience can give me an advice? Thank you in advance!
