Very special situations, Xiaobaitu et al. experts, Please help!

1. I just ted I-140 (NIW) in this April, and now I-140 is pending.

2. I am now using OPT and have applied H1B starting from September 1st. H1B is pending and might come in August.

3. my wife in now using F1 (will expire on June 15th) and has applied OPT starting from August 15th. Her OPT is pending. She is supposed to use two-month grace period for the GAP.

Considering the above complex situations, should my wife and I ted I-485 as soon as possible, or it is better for us to wait till my H1B and/or her OPT are approved? we definitely don't want to miss this good opportunity. who knows what can happen after October.
