I changed my 485 address on uscis web early Feb. They mailed me two letters to my old address one in Mid March and one in Mid April. Both letter were forwarded by Post office to my new address as I rigisted on www.usps.com
It means for my case Post Office did transfered letters from USCIS. You may have a try.
At the end of April or early May I got my 2FP letter at my new address.It means it took about 3-month for USCIS to update my address.
