Are you in CA? I moved over from another state. I got a temporary driving license with H4. I am also a pending green card status.

I called to DMV again and again about my formal DL. I was told not to get my FDL without my green card, even with my EAD. I will call again when I receive my new EAD very soon. Maybe I will meet a nice person. I will share my information.

I think you can apply for a temporary DL like me. Please stop driving without DL. Xiaobaitu is right.
