為啥要收到才能走？

6月5日485 filed..打算回國簽H4，律師建議收到receipt of notice再走，不懂為啥，原文如下：

"We will be in contact with you when the receipt notices are received
(2-3 weeks). As a reminder, we recommend that you do not travel outside of
the U.S. until after the receipt notices have arrived."

2-3 weeks可以等的，但就怕過了3個星期這receipt of notice也未必收到，而且律師說打手印會在1個半月到兩個月間，有這麽快嗎？看壇子裏的人好像比這個時間要晚阿。實在是不好決定時間回去，可這日益嚴重的頸椎病又不等人。

查了舊貼，看到xiaobaitu說隻要移民局收到485的申請即可以離境。
