護照半個月後過期，我還可以進入美國嗎

六月二十號回國，七月中回美，護照八月初過期。我持有綠卡，這樣可以入境嗎？
LG要我先重辦護照再走人，說需要六個月有效期。我這兩天不想抽時間去紐約，並且在網上看新護照不能當天取件。

我可以回來再重辦護照嗎。有沒有哪個網頁（電話）我可以得到相關信息。
