Don't worry
It is very common at NSC. Just provide what they asked. Your publications are more than enough. You'd better ask your previous advisor to write a letter for you indicating that you are still an outstanding researcher and your current department chair to write another letter to prove that your research is still in the similar area. It is a good sign to get RFE which means your name check and everything else is clear. After you provide everything they need, your case should be approved very very soon. I am waiting for any response from NSC, even RFE is good.
