A I-485 question

Hello everyone,

I need your help on this matter. I want to know if I can simply switch EB2 I485 to EB3 I485?

Here is the history. I got my EB3 I-140 approved about two years ago but I can't file my I-485 that time due to the priority was not current. Then I applied for EB2 and ted I-140 and I-485 concurrently in Nov. 2006. Now the EB2 I-140 and I-485 are still pending and don't know when will be approve. And now my priority date for EB3 became current. So I'm wondering if I should file EB3 I-485.

My questions here are:
1. Does this make sense?
2. If so, can I simply switch my EB2 485 to EB3 485? or I have to withdraw the EB2 485 and apply the EB3 485? Does the time which has been accumulated on EB2 485 will carry over to EB3 485?


Any advice will be appreciated!!!
