what is your category? if EB1b or LC based EB2/EB3, you do need to do a similar job (title and deion) to be on the safe side. Also company A's I-140 needs to be approved eventually, if not yet approved.
No real limitation if EB2-NIW or Eb1a because it's your own petition.


You can use AP. If you are on company B's H1B (with H1 transfer approval) when you leave US, you can still continue company B's H1B when return with AP.
