My 485 packet - list of materials

經過兩天艱苦戰鬥，終於完成了485和AP的全部材料。現在就差明天到照相館照合適的照片了。LIST放在這裏希望各位專家批評指正。希望能對將要和正在準備材料的同仁有幫助。

My 485 packet
(EB2, no family, just filing for myself.)

The following materials are for I-485
1. I-485 form
2. G-325A, biographic info
3. copy of I-140 approval notice
4. birth certificate, got it from Changan Notary Office of Beijing, in 1997
5. copies of passport pages
6. copy of i94
7. copy of 797 (h1b)
8. medical examination (I-163)
9. employment letter from university HR
10. check of 325 dollars


A separate envelope inside the 485 packet contains the application for advance parole. These include:

1. I-131
2. A separate page explaining my eligibility for ap and reason for issuance (visiting family in China).
3. copy of Chinese passport
4. Form 797 A (H1B receipt)
5. 2 passport photos
6. 170 dollar check.
Note: The instructions also ask for receipt for filing adjustment for status. I do not have it. But since the AP application is in the same packet as I-485, it should be ok.

• The check should be $395 for I-485 -nymoon2008- ♀ (0 bytes) () 06/05/2007 postreply 09:01:07
