140 stage does two things;
1. candidate's qualification
2. sponsor's ability to pay

if you are paid prevailing wage already on the h1b job, the sponsor doesn't have to show ability to pay.

In your case your sponsor need to show. For big company it is no issue. For a company with only a few people it might be an issue.
