請教小白兔，射線等：A question about Name Check, thanks.

I received a letter from FBI recently which said my name check was ted by USCIS at April 2006 and still under review process. Actually I ted my I-140 & I-485 at August 2004 and then never received I-485 updates until April 2006. I don't know if this means the USCIS ted my name check request to FBI two years later after received my I-485 application or they just reopened the name check in 2006?

Now my case is pending in Taxes Service Center (Transferred from Vermont Service Center in March). I called the Taxes Service Center and was told that I have to wait at least 90 day to get the name check result after the 2nd FP of this May. I called my lawyer and were told she can't do anything for the FBI name check. What can I do for the next step? Do you think it will be helpful if I write to the First Lady or Senator again?
