Urgent about H1 transfer, xiaobaitu, radiology or other big name

NIW I-140 approved, I-485 not filed yet because PD is not current.

I found a new job and the employer is preparing for H-1 transfer.

Last wednesday they said everything is ready and they can file H-1 transfer for me in 1-2 days. But I called them yesterday and they said they have not sent it out yet, and will do soon. Because they ask me to start the new job soon, I resigned last week and the last day for my current work is May 31. My current H-1 will expire by the end of September, but I have terminated my job by may 31, if I cannot file H-1 by May 31, will I be in a big trouble? will this affect my future NIW I-485?
There is no way for me to go back my current job. The farewell party is done already and everybody knows I am going to leave and my boss has informed the department secretary.

If my H-1 petition can be filed by May 31 but the receipt is not received by that time, can I work for new employer? will this affect my future NIW I-485?
