Called USCIS regarding I485 transferred to NSC

and was told that it will get a new date as far as NSC processing goes, which is the date the case was transferred to NSC. That means at least half more years wait before NSC processes it, as current process date at NSC is 9/11/2006, and the case transfer was in March 2007.

Some additional info/questions:
I did get the second FP notice last week sent from NSC. Does it mean that they ARE processing the case?

NC continues to be pending, per the phone call w/ USCIS.
