Will we get Notice after FP/name checking?

Hello, I read some posts and someone got notice from FBI that notifying them their finger print is clear or the name is clear/done. Is that normal? Are we supposed to receive two notices seperately after FBI finished finger print checking and name checking? Many, many thanks.
