近日來收到USCIS 奇怪Email內容的綜合分析

Email的核心內容是這麽說的：

Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

On May 2, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our
earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have on
file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do
not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

僅從文字上看，有兩點：
1. Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured 意思好像是寄的東西不是卡；
2. we mailed the document we manufactured based on our
earlier approval of this case 這句話又非常明白的說是早先批準了。

現在大致有以下幾種回答或猜測：
1. "No,請注意Other Than Card". 以Xiaobaitu為代表的，我想這是根據文字上的主觀推測，值得商榷。如果是象摸大象那樣隻看“Other Than Card”，答案自然是“No”. 如果再看下麵“we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case”,這個“No”隻能說是"No"卡，不能說是"No" Approval；

2. 說是RFE,FP之類的Notice。現在沒有看到這裏的案例的證據；

3. 說是改地址，移民局沒有收到或是沒有更新地址，寄出的東西被退回到了移民局。這個有人說是在別的移民網站上看到了，但不出去退回去的到底是什麽，沒有說不是批準通知的；

4. 這裏有一位同胞說就是批準通知，他/她收到就是這樣一個Email，然後收到批準通知。因為沒有說得詳細，需要求證；

5. 有數位同胞，包括我本人給USCIS打了電話詢問，都是說是批了。我專門就"Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed"這一句追問了一下，電話上那位說是這封Email表麵，先寄批準通知，卡這次還沒有寄。

綜上所述，我的主觀猜測是：可能是批準了，但寄的不是卡，是批準通知。從這一句上看we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case但有一點不確定，就是沒有明確表麵這個“document”就是"Approval notice".這裏至少有一點不能否認：based on our earlier approval。

本人曾就同一個移民問題問過10個以上律師，答案是完全不同，甚至相反的。另外的問題電話問了不同的USCIS代表，回答也完全不同。所以無論是誰說的，看同類的實際案例最有說服力。
