自己注冊一個公司或者以個人名義做self-employer。業務是1099 independent contractor，前提是另一家公司的beneficiary。Perm一般是W2 instead of 1099.
按照規定contract job不能sponsor green card。但AC21 memo described self-employer可以使485 beneficiary作為self-employer做contractor接上485，這個是專門為laid off H1 holder with 485 pending more than 180 days設計的。
很多人把這個誤解為自己開公司雇用自己，但這個是有本質區別的。
本質在於485 beneficiary must do the work that underlying I140 sponsors till green card process is over.
所以找工作的範圍其實很廣。也可以同時幹好幾個工作，但不能用H1，因為自己不能sponsor自己H1。
兄弟們別慌。變通的路很多，隻要願意工作就行。
