Is this possible?

My friend got the approval for H1B and she is in OPT now. However, the effective date of H1B starts from Oct 1st. Her OPT will end by the end of July. She is pretty sure the correct information was filed to INS. What should she do after OPT?She is working at a non-profit organization. I don't know if this matters the effective date. Should she try to have INS correct the effective date?Was that a random error from INS?She is pissed off right now. Hopefully some suggestions will be given right here!Thanks in advance!
