am I petitioner or applicant? confusing..

I am filing I-907 for premium processing service for EB1A. I am confused by two choices in part 1 close to the middle of the form asking about my brief information. Basically what is the difference between "petitioner' and "applicant"?

Should I choose "petitioner who is filing or has filed a petition eligible for premium processing" or "applicant who is filing or has filed a application eligible for premium processing"?

I believe I am a petitioner, but what about applicant? Thank you for your answer.
