How to check if USCIS got my mail

Hi,
I mailed my immigration file to Vermont Center early April by USPS express mail. I lost my receipt and track number. So far the check hasn't been cashed. Anybody knows what I should do to check whether the mail arrived? Should I be patient waiting?
