Check the embassy website

We applied the Canadian tourist visa for parents last year and got it. (follow the instruction from the Canadian Embassy website). They are holding 5 year multi-entry B2 visa to US. However, the embassy did followed-up and asked us for our financial information (bank statement, etc.), not theirs, although they are the ones that apply for the visa. After we faxed our statement, the embassy issued the visa.
