Ask Xiaobaitu about fingerprint

Hi, Xiaobaitu,
My son's I 485 has been approved. But we never received it because address changed. I sent an application to get it replaced with a $260 check.Now USCIS send me a notice to get my son fingerprinted. My son is only 12 years old, whether does he need to do fingerprint? If not, what can I do to get this matter settled?
