My parents just got visa

I also asked this kind of question before my parents went to Beijing to get B2 visa.

My parents just got visa this morning in Beijing. They entended their visa two years ago when they were here. My dad told me the VO just looked at their visa extension notice this morning and my dad told him:" the expiration date was April, but we came back on Dec.(four months earlier)" The VO said "I see" and then issued them visa.
