H-1B holder to Canada

Hello everyone,

I am a postdoc with H-1B visa at a university, and a company has filed an H-1B petition for me this April. I will go to Canada for a conference this June.

My question is: should I be advised to visit Canada in this period? If no problem, which status (university H-1B or industry H-1B (if approved)) I will be in the travel? What kind of documents I need to bring with?

Please give me some advises if you have similar expenience.
