公民的父母不需要等排期?

昨天看了一份中文報紙,說公民的父母不需要等排期.我覺得不可能,如果真是這樣那就太好了, 我兒子是在這裏出生的. 冒著被恥笑的危險上來問問,在美國生了小孩沒有任何綠卡申請上的優勢嗎?_:$
