please help

I would be very grateful if I can get help from you all. I have filed I-140 and I-485 recently. I have also filed I-140 for my daughter but not I-485. However, my daughter is in China and she will join me for good by the end of next year. Can I I-485 for her right now or she has to wait until my application is approved? Therefore, will she be based on family immigration which means she has to wait for long time?
